Orchard Room is focused on primarily veg forward cuisine, with a large variety of the Okanagan’s craft ciders and beer, craft cocktails and a late night rum menu.
The space itself is a new look for Kelowna. Our thirty-seat establishment aims to evoke a sense of 1940’s Miami/Havana, with floral and geometric inspired wallpapers, a white marble quartz-top bar, and a contrast of light to dark semi-secluded private dining space. Chris Shaften’s inspiration for the space comes from his career of culinary work across Canada, as well as a year of recent international travelling. Chef Mike Wilkins will be implementing Chris Shaften’s vision for the internationally inspired food menu, while Mia Papodopoulos will lead the beverage program.
The goals of the beverage program include having the largest selection of local craft ciders available in the Okanagan, collaborating with cideries for custom ciders, and to become Kelowna’s premiere rum bar.
